From the date your VPP commences, you must adhere to the following requirements. Failure to meet these requirements may void
this agreement.

VPP claim may be denied by your used car dealer (or NSVP acting as their agent) if you do not comply with the following service
requirements;

  • You must have the vehicle serviced in accordance with the terms and conditions of your VPP and the manufacturer’s recommendations by a licensed motor mechanic or service centre;

  • For mass market vehicles excluding prestige vehicles, servicing should be completed every 6 months or 10000kms whichever occurs first;

  • For Prestige vehicles servicing should be completed every 12 months or 15000km which every occurs first;

  • Coolants and Lubricants must be checked and maintained in accordance with the manufacturers specifications;

  • Transmission Services should be under taken at least every 40,000km using genuine oils. 

  • You must forward the service invoice (copy or original) detailing; the vehicle’s registration number, your name and address, kilometres at the time of services, the work performed, and your VPP number to VP within seven days of servicing the vehicle. Evidence of posting/emailing must be available if requested.
