Your VPP is not responsible for paying any costs for repair or replacement under the following occurrences, events or circumstances:

  • Any components NOT listed in Section 4;

Failure to follow the vehicle manufacturer’s guidelines

Or exceeding the manufacturer’s operating limitations;

If servicing is not carried out in accordance with the terms of your VPP, the VPP will be voided immediately. If any fault or repair found during the servicing under VPP is discovered during such service, you will be advised so that a time, convenient to all parties the repairs can be rectified.

Please note: there are certain services and parts that are at
an additional cost to you.

These include:

  • Manufacturer-recommended servicing and/or flushing of your vehicle’s transmission, brakes, power steering and cooling system. Where required, our service advisor will bring these to your attention when booking to have your vehicle serviced.

  • Consumable parts including, not limited to, air and fuel filters, brake pads and shoes, fluids, spark plugs, timing belts, fan belts, hoses, coolant and gaskets.

To simplify servicing and maintenance for our valued customers under this warranty, we offer a Set-Price Service. This ensures your vehicle is maintained by factory-trained technicians to the highest possible standards at an affordable price.

  • Once you become aware of the failure, that qualifies under this VP contract, contact VP for the location of your nearest approved repairer.

  • It is your responsibility to authorise and pay for any diagnosis, evaluation, quotation necessary to determine if the problem falls within the VPP contract. If the claim is authorised by VP, the cost of the diagnosis will be included in the claim – up to the appropriate claim limit.

  • Your VPP does not cover any repairs commenced without the pre-approval of VP. Remember, it is mandatory that you are issued with an authorisation & approval number (AAN) from VP.

  • After the problem has been diagnosed, the authorised repairer will email/fax VP, quoting your VPP contract number, current odometer reading of the Vehicle, a description of the problem, the repairs required, and the estimated cost of repairs. VP will then determine that the quoted repair costs are fair & reasonable and fall within the Motor Traders Association guidelines & conducting of vehicle repair estimations. VP reserves the right to inspect your vehicle before authorising repairs. VP reserves the right to inspect your vehicle following any AAN repairs.

  • You will be required to contribute to the cost of coolants, lubricants and machining.

Any additional maintenance requirements necessitated through normal wear and tear will be at additional cost. A detailed list of the specific service required for your vehicle is available in the vehicle’s Owners Manual or service booklet.

At the time of purchase of your vehicle, the selling Motor Dealer’s Set Price Service is:

  • $249.00 for Mass Market Vehicles

  • $349.00 for Prestige & 4WD Vehicles
